Tara Shaye Lynch is Little Miss Litchfield County 2010.  A resident of Torrington, Tara attends St. Anthony School in Winsted, Conn.  This is Tara's second title with the Miss Litchfield County Scholarship program.  She was also Little Miss Litchfield County in 2009.
 
Tara is a competitive Irish step-dancer and is a member of the Shamrock School of Irish Dance.  She has competed in numerous dance competitions on the east coast.  She was a featured fairy dancer in the world premiere cast of "The Magic Treehouse: The Musical" in 2008 and reprised her role in 2009 for the touring company's visit to Connecticut.  She also studies guitar, is an avid soccer player and enjoys snowboarding in the winter. 
 
In 2009, Tara initiated recycling efforts in her school as her platform under the "Friends for Change" Disney program.
