Mary Marrone - Choreographer - Reach for the Star Academy of Dance

Mary Marone

     Mary Marrone has been dancing for over 20 years. She is the choreographer and owner of Reach for the Stars Academy of Dance in Terryville, CT. She has been trained by such choreographers as Frank Hatchett, Joe Tremaine, Debbie Dee, Linda Gaucha, Marty Dew, Wade Robson, Rob Hoffman and Brenda Buffalino. She is the recipient of many awards such as; Creative concepts, great technical execution, lyrical excellence award, entertainment award, judges choice and has been named top teacher & top choreography at numerous competitions. Her and her dancers have been featured in Dance Spirit magazine and have also won regional and national titles, highest scoring studio as well as over 100 high score awards in just the 2005-2006 season. Besides dancing she also has a background in modeling and has recently modeled for Grex dance wear and Design Works costumes. She has choreographed local plays such as Grease and Into the Wood and choreographs for dance and cheerleading teams.She is a member of the Professional Dance Teachers Association and has been trained by Dance Educators of America.
